UEDP-Medhin Stance on Terror Act

UEDP-Medhin, in its press release issued on 16 May 2006, strongly condemns the act of terror turned out here in the metropolis and in some part of the country.

UEDP-Medhin underlined that,an intention to have political achievement through the act of terror focused on innocent civilians should not be accepted under any standard,whoever did it and whatever reason it may have. The party also expressed its condolence for the families and relatives of the victims.

 

UEDP-Medhin Stance on the New "CUDP"

UEDP-Medhin expressed it has noassociation with the newly formed CUDP. In its press release issued on 4 May 2006, the party has asserted that it had nothing in connection with the establishment and undertaking political activities of CUDP, though some of the founding members of CUDP have been members of UEDP-Medhin. In related development, UEDP-Medhin terminated party membership of Ato Temesgen Zewde and Ato Ayele Chamisso, who are found to be leaders of the newly founded CUDP without securing official resignation.
